[ x ] Back before X-Box period

[ x ] When light up sneakers were cool
[ x ] When you rented VHS tapes, not DVDs (I still prefer VHS.)
[ x ] When gas was $0.95 a gallon
[ x ] When we recorded stuff on VCR (We have more tapes than DVDs and still have our VCR LOL)

[ x ] You actually played outside until it was dark (Can't do that these days...)
[ x ] Way back before we realized all this would eventually disappear

Looking on this makes me sad. I pity today's youth and the crud they have to go through. The nineties were AMAZING. If I could stop things from changing, I would. Who wouldn't? The world would probably be a better place. Back before 2000, the bigger the better. Now every thing's tiny and unsafe. The next generation is going to be one messed up one, I'll tell you what. I miss playing outside and doing everything I did. Remember the Big Comfy Couch and Carebears Movie 2? Or Hook and Free Willy, and Kazaam with Shaquille O'Niel? Hayao Miyazaki movies, and when Disney wasn't all about acting and Hannah Montana, and made decent stuff? Remember Rock-A-Doodle and The Pagemaster? Three Men and a Baby, Lamb Chops? I remember when Mr.Potato head was cool. I had a computer game. It was CandyLand, in a children's version with all sorts of mini games and it had demos for a Mr.Potato head dress up. And another one by Tonka. I remember playing with Tonka trucks. Now, everything is acting, reality, or 3D. Nobody draws anything anymore. It's all computer generated. Talk about lazy. '90s kids, feel free to comment with your nostalgic memories and shows you watched. I would really like to know!


...Also, anyone remember Skip It and Hula-hoops? I really miss the old times. I'm quite the old biddy, aren't I?
